We are looking for 

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer (m/w/d), who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Product Team.
You’ll work closely with our Engineer teams to help and support best practices for our services deployment and availability, building automation tools and techniques to accelerate software delivery pipelines and boost Engineering productivity.
You’ll also take care of the security of our infrastructure, helping us with intrusion detection, threat management, network security and infrastructure monitoring.

Your role in BizAway

• Cloud Architecture Design: Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
  tailored to the organization's needs, considering factors like scalability, availability, security,
  and cost optimization.
• Deployment and Migration: Deploying applications, databases, and services to the cloud
  environment.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring the performance, availability, and cost of cloud
  infrastructure and services, and optimizing configurations to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Security and Compliance: Implementing security best practices and compliance standards to protect data and applications in the cloud, including network security, identity and access management, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Planning and implementing strategies for data backup, disaster recovery, and high availability to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
• Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators or other stakeholders, to support application development, deployment, and operations in the cloud environment.
  
   

Your basic qualifications

• Your basic qualifications
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS
• Strong Experience with tools like Git and scripting language (i.e. bash)
• Ability to create and manage CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket)
• Good knowledge of networking and GNU/Linux operating system
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems
• Experience in working with production support teams on application deployments and
  upgrade issues
• Proper communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

We are also interested in

• Experience with EKS of AWS
• Comfort with at least one modern programming language, such as Nodejs
• Experience with database administration (MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with ELK stack / APM.
• Experience with FluxCD
• Previous experience in the Travel industry
